The owners of the former LTV Steel coke plant site in Hazelwood are moving ahead with a new master plan to build offices, retail, light industrial and residential sites with the help of a local architectural firm and community support, officials said.

A 40-member commission appointed by Gov. Tom Corbett has delivered its final report, with recommendations for increasing transportation funding and helping Pennsylvania catch up on badly needed improvements to roads, bridges and transit.
Building owners have unlimited resources available to them to allow them to design and build out a sustainable, environmentally sound facility without exorbitant expense.
