The Westmoreland County Land Bank (WCLB) and the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC) are seeking developers and/or development teams for the purchase and development of prime commercial property along the US Route 30 corridor in the City of Jeannette.
The property is the former Monsour Medical Center site located at 6451 US Route 30. The site consists of five parcels, which have prime US Route 30 frontage and direct access to a stop-lighted interchange. This Route 30 corridor is comprised of mixed-use/commercial and residential types of development.
Developers must submit proposals for the purchase of all of the five available parcels totaling approximately 6.7 acres. The developer should also demonstrate the capacity and creativity to transform the parcels by following high development standards and presenting a commercially viable project for the area.
Attached is a copy of the RFP, and the submission date for the RFP is August 7, 2017. Upon internal review and approval, the preferred RFP that is selected will be announced on September 7, 2017.
